  Code 17 and 20 from Wing F 7, Såtenäs, in winter camouflage. The aircraft closest to the camera is B 17B with Air Force number 17107.  
 
 
 
 Swedish Air Force Bomber Aircraft SAAB B 17 as target tug.
  SAAB B 17A 17268 with the civil marking SE-BRN at SAABs’ air field in Linköping. This aircraft was delivered to the Air Force in December 1943. In May 1954 it was sold to the private enterprise Svensk Flygtjänst AB, which made target flights for the Air Force. The aircraft was taken out of service in December 1954.

# 17268 was one of 19 SAAB B 17:s that was used as target tugs with civil registration.

  B 17A # 17239 with the civil registration SE-BYH, is now restored to flying condition and painted and marked in the colours of 2nd Squadron of Wing F 7 at Såtenäs, code ”Blue Johan”.
