De Havilland Vampire was the first jet aircraft of the Chilean Air Force (Fuerza Aérea de Chile), first supplied in 1954 to Grupo de Aviación 7 at their base Los Cerrillos/Santiago. Here on a Chilean air mail stamp from the fifties. N.B! To me it looks more like the similar night fighter de Havilland Venom. But what I know, no such aircraft were used by the FAC.
