In 1943, all squadrons began to
used the eagle insignia. This one, from the 3rd Sq. was surrounded by a
red roundel. The 1st Sq. had a yellow roundel and the 2nd a blue. In 1945,
the squadron colours were changed to the Air Force standard - 1st
Sq. red, 2nd Sq. blue and 3rd Sq. yellow.
