This rune stone is raised at the grounds of the old farm Rävsal in the parish of Valla. The parish is situated on the large island Tjörn in Bohuslän at the Swedish west coast.

Descriptions from the 19th century tell that the stone was damaged. Among other things, the upper part was missing. The height was stated in this years as 7,2 feet over the ground.

In the 20th century it was moved from its original location in a field to an adjacent hill.

The stone is of gneiss.


The stone is as mentionen damaged. An interpretion of the runes is:
