When Vist old church was demolished in 1891, this rune stone was found in the southern wall. The stone was later raised at churchyard where it just inside the wall. The runic inscription reads:
 

 

   
  This means: "Gire satte denna sten efter Kuža (Gude), broder sin, som i England ändade sina dagar. (In English: Gire raised  this stone after Kuža (Gude), his brother, who in England ended his days)".
