The stone was found in 1870 in the grounds of Lilla Svenstorp in the parish of Länghem. The parish belongs today to the municipality of Tranemo, Västergötland. Baron G. Djurklou let raise the stone in a grove along the old road between Svenljunga and Bragnum. A part of the top and of the bottom of the stone are missing. Also some of the runic inscription is damaged.
