  Harestad  Church

Harestad is a parish in the municipality of Kungälv on the west coast of Sweden. The present church was built in 1853 on the same place where an old small medieval church in Romanesque style once stood. The church is built of stone and has eleven windows and three doors, all with round arches.

Harestad belongs to the Diocese of Göteborg (Gothenburg), the County of Västra Götaland and the Province of Bohuslän. Photo: Lars Henriksson, 27th of May, 2008.
