(Note the second image below the text)

The medieval church at Idenor in Hälsingland is devoted to Saint Maria (Saint Mary). It belongs to the parish Hudiksvall-Idenor parish.

The church was built in the end of the 12th century or the beginning of the 13th. It is a typical
medieval church, but has been completed with two stellar vaults, vestry and porch.

The church owns a beautiful bridal crown in partially gilded silver from the early 18th century. The vestry is decorated with paintings by Paul Hallberg from 1772.

Idenor belongs to the
municipality of Hudiksvall, the Diocese of Uppsala, the County of Gävleborg and the Province of Hälsningland. Photo: Lars Henriksson, 7th of July, 2007.
