Helicopters for evaluation and tests

The two helicopters showed on this page were provided by Agusta to the Swedish Armed Forces for evaluation and tests in the end of 2002. They had a simpler instrumentation than the ordinary serial helicopters. These two interim helicopters were returned to Agusta when the serial deliveries  started in 2006.

One of the interim machines, I-POWR, was painted in a grey scheme and given the code "91". The second, I-PAWR,  in painted in black and carried the code "92".

These helicopter were also powered by two Turbomeca Arrius each delivering 797 hp.
