The individual aircraft number (37034) is marked with yellow figures on the aft part of the fuselage as can be seen here. 37 in red figures is (or should be) the tactical code of aircraft. This AJ 37 Viggen  was delivered to the Swedish Air Force in 1973 and first based at Wing F 7 at Såtenäs and got the tactical code 34. It was later rebased to F 6 at Karlsborg, where it kept the code 34. After almost 3.000 hours in the air, the Viggen served as exhibition aircraft at Karlsborg. It was now the code figueres on the tail was changed to 37, the same as the designation of Viggen.

The code figures were from the beginning yellow at AJ 37 Viggens with in the four-colour camoflauge, but was later changed to red.
