  In 1934, Fairchild Aviation produced F-24-C8C.. This model was the fourth model since F-24 began to be produced in 1932. C8C was powered with a stronger engine than its three forerunners. All 125 aircraft built of this model was fitted with a Warner Super Scarab SS-50A engine developing 145 hp (108 kW).
