- JAS 39A Gripen
The first Gripen provided to an Air Force Wing
was JAS 39A 39002 in June 1993. The receiver was Skaraborgs
flygflottilj (F 7) at Såtenäs, which the image clearly shows.
JAS 39A # 39013 had flown
all its allowed hours in the air. After a long and reliable duty it is now
one of the gate-guards at Air Force Wing F 7 at Såtenäs.
Note the all-grey painting and the markings in distinct colours.
